Operating Budget

Somerset Elementary PTSA works throughout the school year to make sure all the PTSA financial goals are met for the current fiscal year. PTSA raises the money it needs and spends the money it makes on various academic and enrichment programs which support the students, staff, and the general community of Somerset Elementary.

The budget is a financial representation of the activities and operations our PTSA expects to conduct throughout the year. The budget and finance committee, with input from all PTSA board members and the general membership, develops a budget for the fiscal year. Once the board has reviewed and adopted plans of work and the proposed budget, that document is presented to the general membership for adoption. You will find the various budgets below.
