Coin Drive for Hopelink: Big Success!
Wow! The coin drive for HopeLink's "End Summer
Hunger" was a huge success! A grand total of $972.98 was raised.
We thank each and every one of you who donated time, coins and dollars
to this cause, including Muriel who managed the money daily, and the
three 5th grade boys who made over $30 on their lemonade stand sale.

Coin Drive for Hopelink: End Summer Hunger
May 1st - May 27th students are encouraged to
bring coins or loose change to school for Hopelink's "End Summer Hunger"
Coin Drive. This is Hopelink's annual campaign to support the
increased demand at local food banks throughout the summer when free or
reduced-fee breakfast and lunch programs for children at schools are not
operated. Funds raised will go toward the purchase of food
distributed June through September at Hopelink's six food banks in north
and east King County. There are more than 11,000 homeless and low
income families with children in north and east King County who receive
free or reduced meals.
A Big Thank You from the Care & Share Committee
Thank you to everyone who donated items for the Ronald McDonald House Supply Drive. We collected many great items that were fully appreciated by The Ronald McDonald House.
A special thank you to Teacher, Homa Hassan and the ASB kids for decorating fabulous gift bags to be given to children and families who stay at the House. Also to Jason Dominitz, Dana Luera, and Kathy Peter-Contesse for giving us a hand on the delivery day.
