Variety / Talent Show
Somerset Elementary is excited to announce our First Annual School Variety / Talent show to be held Friday, February 10 at 7PM. This is a show, not a competition, so come prepared for a great evening of fun! Everyone is welcome to join in and share their talent or talents in a fantastic FREE evening of performances by our own Somerset students. Teachers and parents are welcome to participate with a student or students as well.
We are looking for acts NOW! Singing, dancing, skits, piano, violin, jokes and more! Apply now before January 20th! You must submit an application to participate in the variety show - no late entries will be accepted.
There are no try-outs, but we will have practices to refine the acts.
We're looking for singers, jugglers, musicians, comedians, actors, dancers, poets, ballerinas, gymnasts, and much more!
Guidelines
- Each act will be limited to 3 minutes
- A talent show Entry Form for each act (signed by a parent/guardian sponsor) is required
- The music, the attire and the act itself must be appropriate to the family atmosphere
- At the most, a student can perform once as an individual and once with a group act
- No lip syncing or air guitar acts will be permitted. Backup/instrumental music is OK. CD's please
