Legislative Affairs Committee

The Legistlative Affairs Chair keeps track of and informs membership about legislative activity that affects the education and welfare of Somerset children and youth. Surveys the membership regarding Washington State PTA’s legislative priorities for the year. Represents Shorecrest at WSPTA’s annual Legislative Assembly where the legislative platform is voted and adopted for the current year.

Join us for PTSA Focus Day on Martin Luther King day, January 18th down in Olympia. Bring the kids on their day off for an educational trip to our State’s Capital and be an advocate for education. Bellevue Council PTSA is providing buses and several groups are carpooling.
