Science Carnival

Thank You YSW Volunteers!

A high five to all of Somerset's Superstar scientist! Young Scientist Week was an overwhelming success and a wonderful learning experience for our kids.  Young Scientist Week was made possible by all of our wonderful volunteers.

Did You Know?

Doing a Science Fair project is a great way for your child to learn about science AND prepare him or her for the 5th grade Science WASL exam.

At least 40% of the WASL exam involves reading, writing or analyzing science investigations just like those done at our Science Fair.

To get detailed instructions on creating your own Science Fair project using the scientific method, download the Science Fair Notebook. The Notebook includes details on the scientific method as well as workspace for your child to complete his or her own Science Fair project.
